About Me
Hi, I’m Metadel Lemma, a Certified Financial Educator and a mom on a mission — to help women, especially moms, step into their financial power and build lasting wealth without sacrificing their time, dreams, or sanity.

Long before I became a mother, I found myself naturally cheering on other women — sharing job opportunities, giving money advice, and encouraging financial independence. I didn’t know it then, but I was planting the seeds of the work I now feel deeply called to do: helping women take control of their finances and feel empowered doing it.

I grew up in a culture where many women depended on their partner’s income; a dynamic that often led to money fights, delayed dreams, or purpose that was never fully pursued. I remember thinking, "That won’t be me". I believed the answer to success was to choose a career that paid well—so I did. I did all the “right” things. But after becoming a mom in the Western world, I felt pulled in two directions. I was giving 100% at work and 100% at home — yet still felt like I was falling short in both. The guilt. The pressure. The never-ending juggle.
I continued to ask: Isn’t there a better way?
A way that honors both your ambition and your motherhood.
A way to build wealth without chasing society’s version of success — but instead, one that feels aligned, intentional, and true to you.
That’s the heart behind everything I do — to show you how to grow your money and make the most of what you earn in a way that protects your time and energy. Because you do deserve a life of abundance, freedom, and choice — not just for yourself, but for your family too.
Four years ago, I thought I was doing everything right. I was juggling multiple jobs, and investing some of my income — convinced I was building wealth. But instead of watching my money grow, I watched it sink.

One mistake alone cost me over $8,000 in the stock market.
I had seen my portfolio rise and fall before, but this time felt different. Even when the market recovered, my money didn’t come back. Watching my hard-earned savings stay underwater triggered a deep, crippling fear. I felt like I had failed — and I had no one to blame but myself.

So, I hired a financial advisor to fix it.
“1% isn’t too much to pay,” I told myself.
But turning over control of my investments didn’t feel freeing — it felt like another failure. Especially when my advisor sold the few investments that were actually doing well. I felt defeated. Those investment picks had made me feel smart — like I knew what I was doing.
The truth? I had been guessing.

Chasing trends.
Looking for validation.
Trying to fit in with my peers.
And the aftermath was loss and guilt. A guilt that cut too deep.
Eventually, I started questioning those advisor fees. That so-called “small” 1%? It would’ve cost me tens of thousands of dollars over time. That was my wake-up call.
And when I found out I was pregnant, everything became even more real.

I couldn’t afford to leave our financial future to chance.
I had a family to protect.
That fear turned into fuel.
I started digging in.
Researching.
Questioning.
Tracking every move my advisor made. Observed closely my spending habits.

Personal finance became my new obsession — not because I loved numbers, but because I needed answers. And slowly, I found them. With every book, every insight, every workshop I felt something I hadn’t felt in a long time: hope.

Within a year, I fired my advisor.

I simplified everything and built a system that works — one that grows our wealth, protects my time, and gives me peace of mind. But it wasn’t just about investing.
I had to unlearn emotional spending.
Transform my relationship with money.

It became a journey of self-healing and self-discovery.

Now, I feel content, confident, and empowered.
And I feel morally obligated to share — because these lessons transformed my life.
You don’t need complicated plans, trendy investments, or expensive experts to create financial security.

So what’s my $8,000 lesson?

You are who you surround yourself with.
If you want to win the wealth game, you need the right mentors, support, and community.
And that’s exactly why I created this space.
With the right tools and guidance, you can take charge of your money — and build lasting wealth on your terms.

Ready to take the first step ?
Let’s make it happen — together.
My Story
My Mission
My mission is to help women especially moms change how they see and use money so they can break free from old money habits that no longer serve them, build wealth with intention, and raise the next generation from a place of financial awareness and healing. It starts with the wallet, but it’s truly a journey of self-discovery.
Where Am I Today?
I’ve addressed the financial mistakes that held me back for so long, and now I’m on track to reach Lean FIRE (Financial Independence Retire Early) within the next 5 years. This is possible not because I did everything perfectly or followed every investment trend, but because I got clear on what truly matters, simplified my investment approach, and started building wealth in a way that works for me.

Most importantly, I’ve created a system that supports both my financial goals and my values as a mom. I stay focused on my goals and continue tackling challenges with clarity and intention.
That’s the kind of life I want for you too.
